I began using visual imagery to stop gun violence in the New York City public schools. I  worked as an artist in the public schools of Crown Heights Brooklyn and the lower east side in Manhattan. Students  were bringing knives and guns to school. I  devised a logo and created a concept that spoke of the two identities a student held, both as an individual and as a group member.
