The painting “the Lone Rider” marks a departure from showing in commercial galleries to an infusion of the work into the community. Having met with success in the gallery world, I found the gallery walls too confining and wrote in my work diary, “art is not adornment, but an un-quieted scream”. I wanted the work to have a more broad and meaningful context.
